Load cell calibration

Discuss calibration and documentation for the load measurement equipment used in your tests.

THE SERVICE

Connect the instrument, its indicator and its measurement record

Calibration enquiries start with the actual load-measurement system you use. The load cell, indicator, connection accessories and required working range all matter when defining the work and documentation.

The instrument, working range and reporting requirement should be identified before calibration is arranged. WWLTS can discuss the available setup and the documentation needed for your load cell. Confirm the applicable range, traceability and any required accreditation when requesting a quotation.

WHAT WE DO

A closer look at the work

The work is scoped around your equipment, site and required outcomes.

LTB load cell and receiver identified as a complete instrument system
01

Identify the complete system

Provide the make, model, serial number and capacity of the load cell, together with the indicator details. Include any cables, wireless receiver or accessories used with it so the quoted scope matches the intended system.

02

Agree the range and arrangement

The required measuring range and physical connections are reviewed against the available calibration arrangement. Share the intended application and any customer-specific documentation requirements before sending the instrument.

Review the measurement record

The resulting documentation should identify what was calibrated and under which arrangement. Keep it with the instrument history so future users can check that the record relates to the equipment they are using.

HOW IT WORKS

From your enquiry to the outcome

  1. Tension load link and handheld indicator being identified for calibration
    01

Identify the load cell and indicator

Provide make, model, serial number, capacity and the indicator used with the load cell. Confirm the required measurement range and any customer-specific documentation before sending equipment.

  2. Illustrative load-cell calibration arrangement in a vertical rig
    02

    Check the agreed measurement range

The complete instrument arrangement is assessed within the agreed calibration scope. Connections, indicator compatibility and required documentation are confirmed for the system supplied.

  3. Load cell and indicator beside an illustrative calibration table and comparison plot
    03

    Review the calibration record

Keep the resulting record with the identified load cell and indicator. Review the range and arrangement covered so the documentation can be matched to the system in use.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

Your questions, answered

Should I send the indicator with the load cell?

Tell us how the system is used and which indicator is paired with it. Our team will confirm which items and accessories should be supplied for the agreed calibration arrangement.

What happens after I request a quote?

The team reviews your equipment and site information, clarifies any missing details and confirms the proposed scope, availability and pricing. Sending an enquiry does not book a test or confirm an appointment.
