WWLTS Group (Pty) Ltd and Load Test Bag (Pty) Ltd are committed to lawful, responsible processing of personal information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We use information for enquiries, quotations and related business services. We do not sell or rent personal information or supply it for other organisations’ independent marketing.

1. Who is responsible

This notice covers the websites, enquiries and related business records of WWLTS Group (Pty) Ltd and Load Test Bag (Pty) Ltd. They are separate companies; the company receiving your enquiry or named in your quotation or contract is responsible for the processing it controls.

Both companies are at Unit 11, Aqua Plan Business Park, 120 E.P. Malan Road, Pomona, Kempton Park, 1619, South Africa. Privacy requests for either company: privacy@wwlts.co.za, attention Kyle Graham; +27 (0)11 425 0015.

2. Information and purposes

We collect relevant contact and company details, RFQ and project requirements, correspondence and supporting documents. Transactions may also involve delivery, inspection, payment and invoicing records. Website use generates technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and usage records.

Information is normally provided by you or your representative, or by a customer, employer, supplier or project contact involved in the work. We use it to process RFQs, prepare quotations, arrange requested products and services, communicate with you, maintain necessary records, protect our services and meet legal obligations.

Processing relies on your requested pre-contract steps or a contract, legal obligations, justified legitimate interests or consent where required. We identify required fields; other fields are optional. You may choose not to provide information, but missing necessary details may prevent us from quoting or providing the requested service. Where a specific law requires additional information, we explain that requirement when requesting it.

3. Necessary sharing

Relevant information may be accessed by authorised staff and service providers supporting our business, including IT and administrative providers, suppliers, contractors, delivery partners and professional advisers. The two companies may share information where necessary for your request. Disclosures may also be made to authorities or other recipients where lawfully required or justified.

We require appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards from providers acting on our behalf. Where services or projects involve processing outside South Africa, transfers must meet POPIA’s requirements, including adequate legal or contractual protection or another permitted basis.

4. Protection and retention

Our policy requires appropriate technical and organisational safeguards and access limited to authorised purposes. We retain information only as long as needed for its purpose or applicable legal, contractual and justified record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify it as appropriate.

5. Website and marketing choices

Our websites use browser storage and similar technologies for functions such as enquiry baskets, security and usage measurement. External links and embedded services may involve third-party processing. You can manage browser storage in your browser settings; blocking necessary functions may affect the website. Where consent is required for optional processing, it must be obtained separately.

Submitting an RFQ is not consent to unrelated marketing. Marketing must comply with applicable law, and you may opt out using the message’s unsubscribe method or our privacy contact.

6. Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation or access to your information, correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. We may verify your identity and explain any lawful limits. Contact privacy@wwlts.co.za and identify the company concerned.

You may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): enquiries@inforegulator.org.za; 010 023 5200; Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191. Complaint procedures and current contact details are available at inforegulator.org.za.
