Product information

Duraline 30 Metre – 2½ Inch (64 mm) Fire Hose

The Duraline 30 Metre, 2½ Inch (64 mm) Fire Hose is a heavy-duty, covered lay-flat delivery hose designed for professional firefighting, industrial water transfer and demanding emergency-response applications. Its robust construction provides reliable water delivery while remaining flexible, easy to deploy and simple to retrieve after use.

Duraline is manufactured from specially formulated, high-grade synthetic rubber extruded through an all-polyamide woven jacket. This unified construction provides excellent rubber-to-textile adhesion and helps the hose resist kinking when charged, maintaining a smooth water path and dependable flow under operating conditions.

Outstanding Durability

The Duraline fire hose is engineered to withstand demanding operating and storage environments. It offers excellent resistance to:

  • Kinking
  • Abrasion and surface wear
  • Heat
  • Oils and chemicals
  • Weather exposure
  • Ultraviolet light
  • Ozone

Its durable outer covering protects the woven reinforcement and contributes to a long operational and storage life, making it suitable for municipal, marine, industrial and emergency-service use.

Low-Maintenance Construction

Unlike many conventional textile-covered hoses, Duraline can be wiped down after use and returned to storage without requiring an extended drying period. This reduces turnaround time, simplifies maintenance and helps keep the hose ready for its next deployment.

Typical Applications

The 64 mm Duraline hose is suitable for:

  • Municipal and industrial firefighting
  • Factories and processing plants
  • Chemical and petrochemical facilities
  • Mines and heavy industrial sites
  • Airports and military facilities
  • Power stations
  • Harbours, terminals and jetties
  • Marine and shipboard applications
  • Emergency and high-volume water delivery
  • Water transfer for suitable proof load testing operations

The hose can be fitted with a range of compatible coupling systems, including British instantaneous, Storz, NH and rocker or pin-lug coupling configurations. The selected coupling and its pressure rating must be suitable for the intended application.
